Pasture-raised sourcing
Our tallow comes exclusively from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle raised on pasture. We review our suppliers' practices every year, and if they slip, we change suppliers.
Responsibility
Tallow is a nose-to-tail ingredient: we use what the food industry already produces instead of letting it go to waste. Here's how we try to do right by the animals, the land and you.

Our commitments
Our tallow comes exclusively from grass-fed, grass-finished cattle raised on pasture. We review our suppliers' practices every year, and if they slip, we change suppliers.
Tallow is a by-product the food industry already creates. Using it for skincare means less waste, not more demand.
Our UMF-rated honey comes from New Zealand apiaries that put hive health before harvest volume.
Every balm ships in an amber glass jar with a metal lid. Reuse it, recycle it, or refill it with your next order.
We whip in small runs so nothing sits in a warehouse long enough to go to waste, and every jar arrives fresh.
No greenwashing, no vague badges. If we say it, there's a document behind it.

The long view
We could make more jars, faster, with cheaper inputs. We don't, because the whole point of Nodra is that someone finally didn't.
That means saying no to seed-oil fillers, no to plastic tubs, and no to suppliers who can't show us their pastures. It means batches sell out sometimes. We think that's a fair trade.
