These terms apply to every purchase made from nodraskin.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by Nodra Skin ("Nodra", "we", "us"). For legal matters, contact legal@nodraskin.com. By placing an order you agree to these terms, so please read them before you buy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, and where any term conflicts with rights you have by law that cannot be excluded, your legal rights win.
1. Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order.
2. Our products are cosmetics
Our products are cosmetics. They are intended to moisturise, soften and improve the appearance and feel of skin. They are not medicines, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or skin condition, and nothing on the Site should be read as medical advice. Any references to published research on the Site relate to ingredients in general and are shared for education only; they are not claims about what our products will do.
Before first use, apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait 24 hours (a patch test). If redness, itching or irritation occurs at any time, stop using the product. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, known allergies (including to beef-derived products, honey, bee products or essential oils), or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check the full ingredient list and speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use. Scented variants contain essential oils; if in doubt, choose Unscented.
Product images are for illustration. Because our balm is made from natural ingredients, small variations in colour, scent and texture between batches are normal and are not defects.
3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email containing your order number. We may decline or cancel an order at our discretion before dispatch, including where we suspect fraud, where a pricing or stock error has occurred, or where an order appears to be for resale. If we cancel after payment, we will refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
The price payable is the price shown at checkout when you place your order. Prices include delivery (see our Shipping Policy) and, for orders delivered within the United Kingdom, applicable VAT. Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after confirmation, provided we notify you before dispatch.
Payment is taken at the time of order through the payment methods shown at checkout. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours or that you are authorised to use it. Where prices are displayed in a currency other than pounds sterling, the displayed amount is an estimate and your card issuer's exchange rate and any card fees apply.
5. Discount codes and promotions
Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be combined with other codes, apply only to the current order, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time. Multi-jar bundle pricing applies only as shown on the Site at the time of order.
6. Delivery, risk and ownership
Delivery is governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery dates shown on the Site are best estimates, not guarantees. The products are your responsibility from the moment they are delivered to the address you gave us. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.
You are responsible for giving us a complete and accurate delivery address. See the Shipping Policy for what happens if an address is wrong or a parcel goes missing.
7. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have a legal right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive the goods. To cancel, email hello@nodraskin.com with your order number within that period.
For hygiene reasons, this cancellation right is lost for any product that has been unsealed after delivery. Unopened products must be returned to us within 14 days of telling us you wish to cancel; you bear the cost of return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation. We will refund the price paid within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or of you providing evidence of return), using your original payment method.
In practice, our Nodra Promise guarantee (section 9) is more generous than the statutory cooling-off right for opened products, and you may rely on whichever suits you.
8. Faulty or incorrect goods
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, you have legal remedies (in the UK, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015) including repair, replacement or refund. Email hello@nodraskin.com within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue and we will put it right at no cost to you, with no return postage. Nothing in these terms reduces these rights.
9. The Nodra Promise (100-day guarantee)
On top of your legal rights, first orders are covered by our 100-day money-back guarantee, subject to its conditions, including activating the guarantee with a photo when your order arrives and at least 30 consecutive days of documented daily use. The full conditions are set out in our Guarantee Policy, which forms part of these terms. The guarantee is a voluntary promise by us and is additional to, not instead of, your statutory rights.
10. Personal use only
Products are sold for personal and household use. They may not be purchased for resale or commercial redistribution. We may cancel orders we reasonably believe are for resale.
11. Site content and intellectual property
All content on the Site, including text, images, video, branding and design, belongs to us or our licensors and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission. We try to keep all information on the Site accurate and current but do not guarantee that it is free of errors. Customer reviews and testimonials reflect individual experiences; results vary from person to person.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was made, losses not caused by our breach, or business losses (we supply products for private use only). Subject to the same carve-outs, our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including industrial action, carrier failures, severe weather, epidemics, war, fire, flood or actions of governments or customs authorities. If such an event substantially delays your order, you may cancel and receive a full refund for undelivered goods.
14. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email hello@nodraskin.com and a human will reply within two business days. We aim to resolve every complaint directly and fairly.
15. Other important terms
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; this will not affect your rights. You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our written agreement. Each section of these terms operates separately: if any part is found unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. If we delay enforcing any part of these terms, we can still enforce it later. These terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Guarantee Policy, together with your order confirmation, are the entire agreement between us for your purchase.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections of, and may bring proceedings in, the place where you live.
